What I Did On My Summer Vacation

It's been a long, long time since Mommy has written anything on here for me. She apologizes. Since it's been so long, it's kinda hard to tell you all the things I've been up to, so here are some highlights from the last 6 months.

* I have a new baby cousin named Hannah.
* I went on a fishing trip.
* I went to the beach.
* I learned how to use the potty.
* I went camping.
* I celebrated Adrianna's 4th Birthday.
* I started swimming lessons.
* I went on a trip to Lethbridge.
* I went on a trip to Edmonton.

And here are some pictures from a few of these highlights.

Helping Grandpa organize his tackle box.

Hanging out in the fishing boat.

Playing in a little pool at the beach.

Practicing my casting with Sammy.

Digging a big hole with Grandpa.
(I'm the one with the hat sticking out of the sand.)

Yelling at Daddy and Grandpa
to come back and play with me.

Helping Adrianna with her presents.

"You WANT me to hit that thing!?"
No problem!

My first day of swimming lessons.

Listening to the teacher with the rest of my class.

Waiting my turn down the little water slide
since they wouldn't let us go down the big one.
No matter how much we asked.

Hanging out with Grandpa Ray in the hot-tub.

Playing with Grandpa Ray's new puppy, Bullet.

Concentrating on my driving at Galaxyland.

Enjoying the Merry-Go-Round with Adrianna.

"Look Mommy, one hand!"

Playing with Adrianna at the waterpark.

Showing off the motorboat skills
I learned in swimming lessons.

Enjoying an ice cream cone with Mommy.
(It was Mommy's treat after she had to get a needle.)

That pretty much brings us up-to-date. Stay tuned for highlights from my first day of school and the day I become a big brother!

Birthday Bash: Part 2

As promised, here are the pictures from Noah's 3rd Birthday Party. Special thanks to Becky who acted as photographer for this event.

Grandpa came over early to play.

The first in a long line of gifts.

Picture summary of Noah and Ben's
relationship right now.

Very excited about the construction blocks
from Aunty Becky and Aunty Ang.

Presents make Noah very happy.

The youngest party goer, Kaden.

I'm saying cheese Aunty Becky!

More party goers.

Present from Mommy and Daddy.

There's Daddy!

Adrianna helping Noah open his gift from her.
A very loud plane that everyone fought over
and the parents confiscated.

Lightning McQueen shirt, underwear and coloring book.

Posing for Aunty Becky while waiting for cake.

Finally, the car cake.

Cheese!

Enjoying the ice cream cake.

Time to play with the toys!

Playing Robot Potato-Head with Grandma.

It was a very fun party and Noah got SPOILED. Thanks to everyone who came. I think this was the funnest birthday party yet. It helps when your child actually knows what's going on and recognizes what a present it. And, boy, did he recognize!

Monster Trucks!

On Friday night Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Mike came with me to the monster trucks. I was really excited about seeing the big monster trucks, not the little ones. There was other stuff there too. There were motorbikes that raced and jumped. Regular trucks that crashed. People even raced around on lawn mowers. It turns out that monster trucks are pretty loud and scary. I didn't really like it when they came out to do their stuff. But I still had fun and talk about it all the time. Here are some pictures.

Here's Mommy trying to take a picture of us.
Those chairs are pretty squishy.

Here are Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Mike.

This is how I spent the night: on Daddy's
lap with his hands over my ears.
(There were earplugs underneath too.)

This is the monster truck that gave everybody rides.

Here's one of the regular trucks that raced around.

These are the racing motorbikes.

And this is one of the jumping motorbikes.
If you look really hard you can see him in the air.
This was my favourite part.

These are the weirdos that raced around on lawn mowers.

And these are two of the really big, really loud
monster trucks. I liked the dinosaur one.
(I just didn't like it when it made noise.)

Birthday Bash: Part 1

I got to do lots of fun things for my birthday. So many fun things in fact, it took three days to do them all! So I'll start at the beginning. On Thursday, February 14th I turned 3. That night Aunty Dionne and Uncle Ken came over for supper and cupcakes. Then even brought me a present. And Mommy and Daddy gave me some presents too.

This is me on my birthday minute: 10:11am

Here I am waiting patiently for my cupcakes.

Uncle Ken thought I was pretty funny.

Here they are!

I blew all the candles out all by myself!

They tasted really good.

My first birthday present! Cars MegaBlocks.

More good books from Mommy and Daddy.

And a Canada puzzle too.

It was a good night.

And tomorrow I'll tell you all about the Monster Trucks!

Through Noah's Eyes

Here's the long awaited Christmas through Noah's eyes post. Nothing Christmasy about them really except they were taken around Christmas time. But enjoy!

Daddy's getting a little tired of posing for my pictures.

Playing with Daddy's Ferrari Lego set.

Smile Mommy! Mommy! Smile!

Good smiling Daddy!

Good smiling Mommy!

My Bunny.

Long Lost Christmas Pictures

Better late than never. At least that's what Mommy says.

Christmas Eve was spent with Grandma Dianne and company at her house. Then on Christmas Day Aunty Stacy, Uncle Steve, Adrianna, Grandpa Ray and Colleen came to our house. We didn't get to see Grandpa and Grandma Braun and everybody until almost New Years but it was worth the wait!

Making Christmas cookies with Mommy.

Obligatory Christmas tree shot at Grandma Dianne's.

Christmas morning was all about the Lego.

I don't think that's goes there Daddy.

Yeah! Puzzles!

This piano rocks!!

Yes, Adiranna, I know it's your piano.
I was just tuning it for you.

Nothing like a present to smooth things over.

Oh man! Monster trucks! That's awesome!

Wow, that's sure a nice firetruck Sam.

You're firetruck is great too, Ben.

I get a firetruck too! That's awesome!

Boys and their trucks.

Absolutely impossible to get everyone
looking at the camera at the same time.

There. Now you've seen everybody smiling.

Stay tuned for Christmas through Noah's eyes.

Here's a preview.

And yes. Noah actually says awesome that much.
