Pictures For Aunty Angie

I've been a pretty busy boy lately. One-year-olds have lots of things they have to do.

I helped Daddy mop our floor. I thought I should help him since it's mostly my mess that gets stuck on the floor.

And then he helped me take my bath.

But then I stole some chips from him...even though I wasn't supposed to. I didn't think he'd mind.

In the mornings my kitty Celia comes to visit me. We sit and chat until Mommy comes to get us. We weren't quite awake yet on this morning.

I'm getting really good at playing with my popper toy that Uncle Mikey got me too. The balls pop out and then I go get them and put them back in. But sometimes I get stuck so Daddy has to help me out.

And then I go steal Daddy's slurpee straws!

And those are just some of the things I've been doing lately. I'm trying to learn to talk too. I can say "up" and "out". Mommy and Daddy are always telling me "out!" "out!" And I throw balls and play with my train set. I also discovered that pointing helps me get things too...I just point to something and then Mommy or Daddy hands it to me! And when I put my arms up and say "up" they'll pick me up and hug me. But I don't say "up" very often.

My First Birthday

What a great day I had. I think it should be my birthday everyday! Mommy came into my bedroom in the morning saying "Happy 1st Birthday Noah!" then she gave me a great big hug and I got to go wake up Daddy. Then at breakfast I got a card from my Grandma Dianne, Uncle Josh, and Aunties Ashley and Crystal. There was money in it too...but Mommy says that's going in the bank for school.

Then after breakfast Mommy blew up all these balloons and I played with them until lunch time when Daddy came home with even more balloons! Only these ones floated!

After lunch Mommy and Daddy untied all the floating balloons and they went up to the ceiling. All these long ribbons came off the balloons and I liked walking through them and grabbing them and running around while the balloons followed me. So Mommy left them up on the ceiling so I could play with them all day.

Then it was supper time. I had broccoli and cauliflower with cheese, some bits of garlic toast, and spaghetti and meat sauce. It was sooo good. I made a really big mess with the spaghetti but Mommy and Daddy didn't even care. I even got to eat in my diaper.


Then after supper there was this cake with a candle and a sparkler and my friend Aidan and his Mommy and Daddy came over and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me. Then they gave me the cake! The whole thing! Can you believe it!

It was carrot cake with cream cheese icing and it was sooo YUMMY! And nobody got mad at me even when I put my foot in the cake!

And after supper they gave me all these presents to open but I was more interested in playing with my friend Aidan. I had lots of energy after that cake!

It was a great day! Thanks to the people on the computer who came to my party too! Mommy's sorry it didn't work better. The webcamera kept making our computer freeze and she had to restart it like 10 times. She's also sorry she doesn't have more pictures but she was so excited to play with me all day she kept forgeting to take them. Now I can't wait until my next birthday!!

Since Mommy and Daddy and I are all by ourselves for my very first birthday, Mommy thought it would be nice to show everybody out there my birthday party! February 14th is my birthday and I'm going to have spaghetti and cake and presents. You can watch me eat my spaghetti and cake and open my presents because Mommy is going to broadcast my birthday on the internet! Things I've Been Up Too

It was Daddy's 30th Birthday and he got some tools and a tool box. I helped him sort everything out and put everything away. I really like tools (especially power tools).

I Love Spagetti! Anything pasta with some tomato sauce on it makes me really happy. My other favorite foods right now are chicken and cheese. I also like broccoli if it has cheese on it. And don't forget the bananna for desert. Oh...and I'm drinking LOTS of juice from my sippy cup
(1/8 juice: 7/8 water).

I've found another cool place to play in the kitchen...the REFRIGERATOR! There is so much neat stuff in there. I found this funny looking bottle in there and Mommy let me have a taste of it and it was GOOD. Maybe she'll let me dip cheese in it sometime.

I've also turned into a little monkey this past week. I've figured out how to climb onto this chair all by myself. Bug loves to sleep on the chair and now I climb on up with her. But don't worry...I give her a kiss afterwards.


I'm also having lots of accidents lately. The other day I was running and I tripped and fell on my face. I fell so hard that my nose started to bleed. And now my lip is all red and the top of my nose is a little bit swollen and purple. And then yesterday I was shaking the end table like I always do and one fell on me! I'm not sure how it happened but I scraped some skin and bent my fingernail and it started to bleed too. There was so much blood everywhere that Mommy didn't even know where I was hurt. But I showed her my finger and it hurt LOTS! Now I might loose my fingernail. Daddy says I'm following in his footsteps. Mommy just hopes that I don't start jumping off refrigerators.
